RITE OF SPRING [4-20 (-13)]

Here's a piece that was recently featured at Melissa Johnston's excellent new arts blog Creative Thresholds. Rite of Spring was written during the tumultuous week of semi-hallucinatory media coverage in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing. Most of its ghosts should be evident, if not obvious (what ghosts are?), but my vantage point from Oklahoma City--which commemorated the anniversary of the Murrah building bombing back in 1995 that same week--probably deserves explicit mention.

Since the work is at least partially a harmonium, infinite iterations of it are possible. In addition to those already up at Creative Thresholds, I've included a couple more below.
