a poem for today, 11 October 2012
[a syllable sorted sonnet of ten sentences and its image]
Your gay lifestyle is an abomination before God.
No, it's a bit of a new circle of friends you might say.
Fashion is what you adopt when you don't know who you are.
You should be embarrassed for making such a statement.
You must understand why you feel like this.
No matter how cynical you get, you can't keep up.
You might like to fold this down one more time.
So you buy a dildo and you get this thing as a bonus.
Once you've heard one non sequitur, the price of tea in China.
Just knowing you're there for me is enough.
