a poem for today "putting up" [NOW WITH AUDIO!]

putting up
putting up laundry
landing in the darkness of a bud light
landing in trees night quiet engine
eye play over there by the telephone
I play bingo at the charity hall
folded into this night, this is the sheets talking
folded into fist and singing barks the dog dare wind-o-frame cracks
there have I done it capped it with ululations
there have reactions on one and the other hands
but don’t tell me about it ever lest I use lest
but don’t put me up to it neither
I say phooey (lasting implications are forgotten again)
I say phooey twiced

[this is one of the 5 that goes with taking back from yesterday and which dates back to Sept 2009 - the group of poems is called a square six]
