a poem for today, 1 October 2012

Integrators generate spikes by summing temporally dispersed inputs whereas coincidence detectors respond exclusively to temporally coincident inputs.
I like it this way because it keeps the depth.
The pearl is the oyster’s autobiography.
Nothing you say will make any difference.
The age of the rock star has nearly ended.
In theory, anyway.
It is the compressed image of those other supposedly waning values, affect, immediacy, depth, and authenticity, all in one.
There are no pop-ups here.
To contradict is a duty.
