a poem for today, 13 August 2012

a poem for today, 13 August 2012
[a syllable sorted sonnet of eleven sentences and its image]
For all I know my life could hinge at this moment, with these very words.
Coca Cola needs alcohol, Pepsi tastes good by itself.
It's not where you take things from, it's where you take them to.
We have our third world 'within' the developed States.
Undress means pretty much what you want it to mean.
I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought.
Character is what you are in the dark.
But we're all together and you're mine for a night.
My get up and go must've got up and went.
Note: I am by no means a kissing expert.
Open bottle before drinking.
