Poet X : a treatise re: verse(d)

essay 114

polysemy is witchery:
loci for Loki
tussling all over the verbs,
a free-for-none ....

colonize with black eyes
a meld melt in mid-sentence;
bobbling the phrase-maker
i keep trying to make it fit

there were too many voices
in that room, a plodding of grunt take-0ver;
scant as gross:
gainsaying loss

the invoice
is outa site (i oughta mind)
the entrance
exits Hypnos;

imitation is flattening
longing on the short-form;
ain’t gonna (thinning)
work that farm
