a poem for today

a poem for today, 5 March 2012
[a letter sorted sonnet of fourteen sentences and its image]
You are an epidemic.
I replied with a smile.
Do you believe in prayer.
I thought there'd be Elvis.
If you're Tarzan, she's game.
Failure's like so hot right now.
She has a very low pitched voice.
Stop hoarding weird shit on napkins.
Maybe you think this is a terrible idea.
The last refuge of the loser is to not be wrong.
Without comparison everything loses its value.
My cousin’s best friend is gay, so, I totally get it.
What makes you think I'm not interested in a good fuck.
It's like saying "I hate you" without all the mean words.
