a poem for today

a poem for today, 20 February 2012
[a word-sorted sonnet of 13 sentences and its image]
To profess that the sign is but a representation of the thing is not logical, but political.
Androgyny wins.
Maybe the sun won't come up tomorrow if you wash your hair.
Choice is never unbounded.
There are just some patients who don't respond.
You can't change me I'm pretty.
Perhaps linking to primary sources would just be too embarrassing.
Survival of the shiftiest.
You're the darlingest darling of them all darling.
This is pretty much it verbatim.
Although these look like eggs, they are actually bulb mites.
Define "episode."
Mostly I just want to take a shower from the inside out.
