a poem for today

a poem for today, 1 March 2012
[a letter sorted sonnet of six sentences and its image]
Standing in the pouring rain outside a closed Korean mini-market, holding a dripping newspaper over my head while I wait for the bus.
I hope people will be able to see that from this.
The newspapers conscientiously draw up a list of causes for the sudden disquiet.
Every entity is haunted by its own internal entropy or tendency to disintegrate.
When I want intimacy I stay home with my two cats.
Importantly, the original source (planned or unplanned) is recorded on the card - maybe a different color card, maybe a dot, a word, whatever.
